SwingVision AI

Privacy Policy

SwingVision AI is committed to handling users' videos, profile information, and analysis results securely. This policy explains the information we collect, how we use it, where and how long it is stored, how it can be deleted, and how we handle videos that may include faces.

1. Information We Collect

We collect email addresses, profile information, batting type, baseball experience, current concerns, batting videos voluntarily uploaded by users, video file names, upload dates and times, MIME types, AI analysis results, GAME PLANs, and post-game review entries.

2. How We Collect Information

Videos are collected only when users select and upload them from their devices. We do not access data from the camera, photo library, or microphone without user action. We do not collect facial information in the background.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information for login management, video storage, batting form analysis, posture review, bat and swing-motion review, stance and follow-through review, improvement suggestions, practice-plan creation, GAME PLAN creation, displaying analysis results, and troubleshooting.

Purposes We Do Not Use Information For
  • Facial recognition
  • Identity verification
  • Personal identification
  • Advertising
  • User tracking
  • Building facial databases
  • Creating facial templates
  • Selling data

4. Where Information Is Stored and Processed

Uploaded videos are stored in Amazon S3 provided by Amazon Web Services. Structured data such as profiles, analysis results, and GAME PLANs are stored in DynamoDB. We use AWS Lambda for backend processing. In-app playback uses signed URLs that expire after a limited time.

For batting form analysis, we may send still images extracted from a video, rather than the entire video, to Amazon Bedrock for processing. Temporary files created for analysis are used in AWS Lambda temporary storage and deleted after processing is complete.

5. Service Providers and Third-Party Sharing

To provide the service, we entrust data processing to Amazon Web Services, Inc. and related services as necessary. Specifically, we use Amazon S3 for video storage, Amazon Bedrock to process images for AI analysis, and AWS Lambda for backend processing.

Except where required by law, we do not sell or provide videos or images that may include faces to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties for purposes outside this policy. We require service providers that process data on our behalf to maintain security and privacy protections at least equivalent to those described in this policy.

6. Use for AI Model Training

SwingVision AI does not reuse input videos, extracted images, or analysis results to train proprietary AI models. The current implementation uses standard Amazon Bedrock inference, and input images and output results sent to Amazon Bedrock are processed within the scope of AWS's published specifications.

We do not generate biometric facial information, facial feature vectors, or facial templates. We also do not process videos for facial recognition, identity verification, or personal identification.

7. Data Retention

Uploaded videos are retained until the user deletes the applicable video or deletes their account. Related data, including AI analysis results, GAME PLANs, and profiles, are retained until account deletion. Local temporary files created for analysis are deleted after processing is complete.

For technical troubleshooting, we may record minimal technical information in CloudWatch Logs, such as video IDs, S3 keys, processing status, and error details. Log and backup retention periods follow the settings configured in AWS.

8. How to Delete Information

Users can delete individual videos from the in-app video list. When an individual video is deleted, the current implementation deletes the video file, its associated analysis results, and debug frame images associated with that video.

Users can use the in-app account deletion feature to delete videos, analysis results, GAME PLANs, post-game reviews, profiles, and other data associated with their account. Users cannot sign in again with a deleted account. Deleted data generally cannot be restored.

9. Withdrawing Consent

Users can decline the collection and processing of data that may include faces by choosing not to upload videos. Users can stop future use of a particular video by deleting it. Users can delete all stored related data by deleting their account.

Deleting a video or an account functions as a method to withdraw consent for the collection and use of videos that may include faces. Deleted data is not reused for new AI analyses.

10. Security

We use HTTPS for communications and control access to stored data on a per-authenticated-user basis. We use time-limited signed URLs for in-app playback and process data in the backend according to access permissions. We take measures to prevent unauthorized access through access control, authentication, and permission management for the AWS services we use.

11. Videos That May Include Faces and Facial Data

Batting videos voluntarily uploaded by users may include the face of the user or a third party. We may also extract still images from videos to the extent necessary for batting form analysis.

We do not use videos or images containing faces for facial recognition, identity verification, personal identification, facial feature extraction, facial-template creation, facial-database building, advertising, or user tracking.

Videos and images that may include faces are processed only to analyze batting form, body posture, the bat, swing motion, stance, and follow-through, and to provide improvement points, analysis results, and practice plans.

12. Videos Featuring Third Parties and Use by Minors

Users should upload only videos for which they have permission from themselves or any third parties shown in the video. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before using the service. Do not upload videos that show a third party's face without permission.
